Physically the lens is dust and moisture-resistant to allow use in inclement weather, while optically the inclusion of Aspherical and UD elements, and Blue Spectrum Refractive Optics allow consistently sharp and detailed images, with dramatically reduces colour fringing and aberrations. Flare and ghosting are also controlled, thanks to Air Sphere Coating being applied to lens elements.
A ring-type USM motor has been included in the design of the Canon RF 85mm f1.2L lens, working together with advanced algorithms and Internal Focusing to deliver fast and smooth autofocus, perfect for unleashing on your still photography and video applications. As with other RF lenses, this lens includes a customisable control ring which you can use to adjust the exposure settings of your choice, for a more pleasing user experience.
